Blended learning is educational learning (formal and informal) that combines online digital media with traditional classroom learning and teaching methods.  It requires the physical presence of both students and teacher and gives students control over time, place, path or pace of their learning.

Blended learning is not the same as technology-rich instruction and goes beyond one-to-one computers and high-tech gadgets. It involves leveraging the Internet to engage students by offering them a more personalized learning experience.

Triad 5 has created this website to inform and guide others about how to develop and use blended learning lessons in the classroom.  Please explore the site and feel free to join the discussion in our blog.
